Moving to 3Commas v2 is not an upgrade in place — it is a fresh account, a fresh exchange connection and a fresh strategy setup. That is the same work it takes to start on Blitz, which runs a laddered DCA setup with no subscription, ever.
What 3Commas is asking you to do
- Register a new account on v2 — a separate platform, built with WunderTrading
- Reconnect your exchange to it
- Set your strategies up again from scratch
Every one of those steps costs you the same whether you land on v2 or here. So the only question left is which platform you want to be on for the next year.
You do not start from a blank bot
A new bot on 3Commas
Empty. You set the base order, safety orders, price deviation, step scale, take profit and max safety orders before it can run — and the result is only as good as the numbers you picked.
A new bot on Blitz
You pick a strategy that already has a recommended symbol, leverage, entry count and take profit, then set your amount. It runs as-is.
Want your own numbers? Build a strategy from scratch, or copy any of ours and edit the symbol, leverage, take profit, stop loss and the full entry ladder — or apply one to a different symbol in a click. Copies never change the original.
So the tuning you did on 3Commas is still available to you here — it is just no longer the price of admission.

About the fee cashback
Running the bot is free on a supported exchange account, including one you already hold — the connect screen tells you which exchanges accept that. The 20–40% cashback of eligible trading fees is a separate track: the exchange binds it when the account is created, so it applies to accounts opened through a Blitz partner link and cannot be added to an account you already have. If you are coming from 3Commas with an exchange account you intend to keep, plan on the free bot — not the cashback.
When 3Commas v2 is the better move
Blitz offers multiple ready-to-run T-DCA ladder strategies you can copy and edit, or you can build your own. It does not offer other bot families. If what you actually relied on was a grid bot, smart trades, a signal marketplace or portfolio tooling, we do not replace those — and if your exchange is not one we support, we cannot help at all. What you are leaving is a broader toolbox than what we are. That is a real trade, and for some traders it is the wrong one.
Questions people ask when switching
Do I have to move my money anywhere?
No. Both platforms are non-custodial — your funds stay in your own exchange account the whole time. Moving means connecting a different bot to the same exchange, not transferring balances.
Can I keep running my 3Commas bots while I try Blitz?
Yes, until 3Commas deactivates v1. Run a Blitz bot with a small amount on the side and compare. Just make sure two bots are not trading the same symbol on the same account at the same time.
Do I need to rebuild my DCA settings?
Only if you want to. Every strategy on Blitz already carries a recommended symbol, leverage, entry count and take profit, so you can start by picking one and setting an amount. If you would rather reproduce what you had, the strategy panel has a Create Your Own Strategy card, and you can also copy any of ours and edit the symbol, leverage, take profit, stop loss and the full entry ladder. Copies never change the original.
What does it cost?
Running the bot is free — there is no subscription and no deposit to us. We earn a share of the trading fees your exchange already charges. Separately, accounts opened through a Blitz partner link earn cashback of 20–40% of eligible trading fees; that track is tied to how the exchange account was created — an account you already hold can still connect and run the bot on most exchanges (BingX currently needs a partner-link account); it just is not enrolled in that cashback.
Can I use the exchange account I already have?
On most supported exchanges, yes — the connect screen tells you which ones accept an account you already hold and which need one opened through our link. We support Bybit, Gate.io, KuCoin, BingX, Bitget and Hyperliquid.
